3 in Guangdong investigated for Party discipline violations

Two senior officials and a business executive were placed under investigation for serious violations of Party discipline and State laws in the southern province of Guangdong, according to a statement from the province's top anti-graft body on Wednesday.
The officials and business executive who have been discharged from their posts for further investigation include Huang Baiqing, former director-general of the Guangdong provincial department of water resources; Chen Da, a member of the Party committee of Guangdong provincial department of justice and director of Guangdong's administration of drug rehabilitation; and Wen Naizhan, deputy general manager of Guangdong Co of China Mobile.
The statement that was released on the official website of the Guangdong provincial commission of Party discipline inspection on Wednesday night did not reveal details of the cases.
