Man with bipolar gives iPhones to employees
A man in Ningbo, Zhejiang province gave more than twenty iPhones to his middle-level employees, prompting his wife to send him to hospital, reported Hangzhou Daily on Monday.
The overly-generous action alerted his wife, who brought him to the hospital, where the man was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, a mental disorder characterized by periods of elevated mood and periods of depression.
According to his wife, he was once diagnosed with depression after he failed at running his factory and had to take medication regularly. After half a year, he stabilized and stopped taking the medicine.
Recently, he started showing manic symptoms and squandered his money every night, behaving like a totally different person, which made his wife worry the symptoms were back.
