Xu Caihou dies of bladder cancer

Xu Caihou, former vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, died of bladder cancer on Sunday.
According to China's Criminal Procedure Law, military prosecutors decided not to sue Xu any more, but would deal with his illegal gains according to law, said a statement from the military procuratorate.
Military prosecutors finished investigation on Xu's graft case on Oct 27 last year and started the procedure to file the case.
Xu was also expelled from the Communist Party of China and discharged from military service with his rank as general revoked.
Xu was found taking the advantage of his position to assist the promotion of other people, accepting huge amount of bribe personally and through his family.
