Man scares neighborhood with fake gun
A man walking around his neighborhood dressed as a fully-equipped soldier, including camouflage clothing, tactical vest, three-hole balaclava, dagger and imitation gun, caused a panic and calls to the police in Beijing, reported The Beijing Times on Wednesday.
The man is fascinated by the military but failed to qualify for the army for physical reasons. He loves to play online shooting games, and explained that he was "trying to have a more vivid experience as a soldier."
He said the gun is a fake and he never intended to hurt anyone. He was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a year's probation.
