A foreigner on drugs wielding a knife chased and attempted to attack pedestrians on a busy street before being shot by police in Foshan, South China's Guangdong province on Aug 10, 2014.
Police attempted to stop the man but he refused to be captured. The police fired warning shots before shooting him in the legs. The dark-skinned man was caught and sent to the hospital, but died during the operation, reported Foshan Daily on Tuesday.
The man tested positive for methamphetamine. The initial analysis showed that he took smokable methamphetamine prior to the attack.
