Three die in Taipei subway attack

TAIPEI - Three people have died and about ten were injured in an alleged random subway attack in Taipei City on Wednesday afternoon.

A man began to attack passengers with a knife in a carriage at about 4:30 p.m.. He then tried to run away.

He was captured by police and is under interrogation.

Police said the man smelled of alcohol.
