Chinese provincial official removed from post

WUHAN - Guo Youming, vice-governor of Central China's Hubei province, was removed from his post on Thursday at the 7th session of the Standing Committee of the 12th Provincial People's Congress.
Guo was suspected of serious law and discipline violations and was under investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China in November.
Guo, a native of Hubei province, was born in 1956. He was elected vice0governor of the province in January 2013.
