China publishes selection of Xi Zhongxun's work

BEIJING -- Xi Zhongxun's articles and speeches on the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s united front work has been published in a book to commemorate the 100th birthday of the late leader.
Xi was former vice premier and father of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The book has 109 pieces of Xi Zhongxun's speeches, reports, articles and instructions on the united front work, including multi-party cooperation and political consultation, the Party's policies on ethnic and religious affairs, as well as work on Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and countrymen living abroad.
The book was edited by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and Party Literature Research Center of the CPC Central Committee.
Xi Zhongxun was praised as a great Communist fighter, an outstanding proletarian revolutionary and a distinguished political leader of the Party and military.
