Medical dispute mediation body set up in Shantou

A committee to mediate medical disputes was established in Shantou, a port city in Guangdong province, on Wednesday.

Approved by the Guangdong provincial department of justice, the committee, that consists mainly of medical and legal experts, hopes to resolve disputes between doctors and patients, according to a statement from the Shantou city government.
