9 sentenced for human organ trafficking

Nine suspects were convicted of organizing others to sell human organs and received sentences ranging from one to 10 years, according to Jianggan district people’s court in Hangzhou, capital city in East China’s Zhejiang province on Wednesday.
According to the court, the main suspect surnamed Lv published the information to purchase kidneys online, recruited the sellers and arranged physical examinations, blood matching and the kidney removal operations.
The eight other gang members assisted Lv in recruiting and managing the kidney suppliers, arranging operations and providing transportation.
On Tuesday, the court released the ruling and confiscated all of their illegal earnings.
