A man in Zhangzhou, Fujian province, had to buy back his old mobile phone at twice the price at the weekend after he found out it still had nude photos of his wife on it.
The man, surnamed Wu, had bought a new phone and sold his old one to another villager for 500 yuan ($80) before his wife realized that five nude photos of her had not been deleted.
The new owner demanded 1,000 yuan to return it.
After police intervened and it was guaranteed that the pictures had not been copied or put on the Internet, Wu agreed to pay.
