Raise the red lantern for National Day

A huge red lantern is under construction in Tian'anmen Square in Beijing, Sept 14, 2011, to welcome the upcoming National Day, Oct 1. The lantern is 15 meters tall and has a diameter of 50 meters, and is scheduled to open to visitors on Sept 25. [Photo/CFP]
