Delegation leaves for US, Uruguay, Argentina

BEIJING - A delegation from China's National People's Congress (NPC) left Beijing Friday afternoon for a goodwill visit to the United States, Uruguay, and Argentina.
The delegation, headed by vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Lu Yongxiang, is invited by the US Congress, the National Congress of Uruguay and the Argentine Congress.
During the stay in the United States, Lu is also scheduled to attend the sixth meeting within the conference mechanism between the NPC and the US Senate.
