The MOC, through a statement posted on its website, suggested to Chinese enterprises that are planning to invest or do business in Yemen, that they pay close attention to the development of local conditions and put off plans in the short term.

Ongoing anti-government protests in Yemen has caused an increase in violent incidents in the impoverished country over the last few days.

The ministry suggested that Chinese companies in Yemen should ensure the security of Chinese citizens, enhance the protection of property and impose strict controls on outdoor activities.
