CEOs, scholars: B&R to boost Southeast Asia's development

Wu Xiaoling, chairwoman of PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University, made a speech at the opening ceremony of the Tsinghua PBCSF Belt and Road EMBA Program for Southeast Asia on May 11, 2017 in Beijing.[Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

She expected the power of finance to bring win-win situations to countries along the Belt and Road and hoped multilateral financial institutions such as the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank and Asian Development Bank to play their roles.

The former central bank official also expected the mutual learning between Chinese and Southeast Asian entrepreneurs would promote deeper cooperation, win-win and growth.
