China to further open up oil, power, telecom sectors in next five years

BEIJING - China will further open up sectors with natural monopoly features for investment over the next five years, a document of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said Tuesday.
Efforts will be accelerated to open up competitive businesses of sectors such as oil, natural gas, electricity, telecommunications, transportation and utilities, according to proposals released by the CPC Central Committee on formulating the 13th five-year plan (2016-2020) for national economic and social development.
