Rural land reform is crucial for China's future growth because it can unleash farmers' spending power, by turning their farmland into money. Legislators are revising the Land Administration Law to make that possible. CCTV reporter Feng Xin sat down with Liu Shouying, deputy director of department for rural economy at the State Council Development Research Center--he's helping to draft proposals for China's new round of rural land reforms.
