Chinese parents usually spend years saving money to buy property for their children. A mother in Southwest China's Sichuan province is not an exception but she met her goal in a more visible way.
Ning Junfen, 40, carried 250 kg of coins in seven bags to a real estate sales center to buy a house for her daughter in Meishan city. The coins took bankers and counting machines three hours to check out 43,500 yuan ($6,808).
Ning said she saved the coins for 10 years until her daughter needed them at this time.
