7,800-meters-long noodles made as traditional wish for longevity
Lianzhou, Guangdong province held a traditional festival to pay respect and tribute to the elderly and wish for longevity, Chinanews.com reported on Monday.
A chef kept stretching dough into a long string while tourists lined up and held the noodle.
The noodle went through a 7,800 meters long tunnel with the visitors' help.
Lianzhou was acknowledged as "longevity city" in 2012 since 8,500 people are over age 85.
In our final story, a lighted copy of the Eiffel Tower draws photographers and other visitors.
