Driver fined $10,000 for breaking rules
It seems that there is still a long way to go for some Chinese drivers to obey traffic rules.
A female driver had 138 points deducted from her license and was fined 69,000 yuan ($10,874) on Tuesday as she illegally drove an off-road vehicle belonging to her company on an emergency lane 23 times since March in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province.
It is the biggest ticket Shenzhen traffic police have written out this year for moving violations and also the largest ticket in the country for using an emergency lane.
