Runner celebrates his birthday in sporting style

Three lines of students in a choir competition at Southwest University of Science and Technology fell on stage when the tiered platform they were standing on collapsed Friday, Henan Television reported.

It is speculated that the swinging motions performed by the students as they sang increased the stress on the platform's stairs and it crashed down. The moment the three lines of students instantly disappeared was a stunning and vivid one for the audience.

Luckily there were no casualties.
