Groom picks up bride with 36-truck convoy
A previous story had a man riding a horse to pick up his bride; here, a groom in Harbin, Heilongjiang province used 36 brand-new environmentally-friendly trucks to do the same for his wedding procession, cfp reported on Tuesday.
The groom, who runs an earthwork transportation business, said his wedding day happened to fall on the opening day of his company, so he decided to pick up his bride with his company's new trucks, to celebrate the "double happiness". The bride also said it's a thoughtful wedding that she will remember for a lifetime.
The new trucks, each adorned with fresh flowers and balloons, attracted lots of onlookers.
