Customers' selfies on display iPhone posted online
A man caused controversy online after he posted 133 strangers' selfies on his social media accounts.
The photos were taken by customers of an Apple store in Beijing when they tried the display iPhones' front camera.
The man, Liu Gaochao, said he found the photos interesting and sent them to his phone. Later he uploaded the selfies online.
Liu said the photos won't be used for commercial purposes to avoid possible infringement of the customers' copyrights.
He also asked the selfie takers to get in touch with him.
A staff member from the Apple store, quoted by Yangtze Evening Post, said the photos on display iPhones in the store are automatically erased daily and the company will take legal action if the photos are used illegally.
