World's longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge to open in Zhangjiajie
Earlier we had reported on the world's longest cantilever bridge opening in Chongqing. Here'se another record-breaking glass bridge that will open in Zhangjiajie in July, Hunan province, dfic.cn reported on Friday.
The structure, which is 430-meter-long, six-meter-wide and 300 meters above the valley floor, can carry 800 people.
The project, which does not use any reinforced concrete, was built at a cost of 34 million yuan ($5.5 million).
