PhD holder puts himself on market

A half-naked man was spotted in Chongqing attempting to sell himself to a willing "wealthy woman" for five million yuan ($805,58), ifeng.com reported on Monday.

The man, claiming to be a PhD holder from Tsinghua University, said he wants to continue his studies abroad but is from a poor family and doesn't have enough money.

The doctor has reportedly been approached by a lot of potential buyers. However, he refuses to negotiate when it comes to price: "I won't lower the price because I'm worth it."

Positioning himself on a pedestrian street in the city, the man got a lot of interest of passers-by and even a string of beautiful young women who apparently left their mobile and QQ numbers.
