Mummified monk a marvel
The mummified body of a 102-year-old monk has been found remarkably well preserved, according to a media report.
The body of the monk, who was known as Wu Yunqin, has flexible skin, white hairs and visible facial features even 17 years after he died in a temple in central China's Henan province.
After Wu died at the age of 102, his body was put in a sealed container to keep it from degrading. And in 2000, the mummified body of Wu was taken out of the container and put in a cover made of crystal in a temple in Central China's Henan province for display.
