Chinese doctor saves American's life

A Chinese doctor, surnamed Tang, has been praised online after he saved an American whose life was in danger.

According to the doctor's Weibo account, he was visiting an ocean park in San Diego, California, on March 21, when he met an American woman who collapsed of a heart attack.

The man, who is an emergency physician, rushed to give the patient first-aid with the help of the staff of the park. Within ten minutes, the woman was out of danger.

To thank the doctor, the ocean park arranged an exclusive whale show for him, which he had missed because he was administering first aid.

After the doctor posted his experience on Sina Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, on March 21, it received more than 50,000 likes.
