Flying home with a bird's eye view
Ever wish you could fly in the cockpit with the pilot? Well, one passenger got a chance to do just that because of the Spring Festival travel rush.
A set of photos posted by an airline passenger, using the microblog name of Wu Zi'en Ada, went viral online. They show her taking the flight home in the cockpit of a passenger aircraft, because the plane was packed during the Spring Festival travel peak.
The woman flew Cathay Pacific from Taipei to Hong Kong on Feb 26. Although she bought a business class seat, she was lucky enough to be invited to sit in the cockpit and have a bird's eye view of the whole trip.
She later said in her microblog that the airlines allows passengers to sit behind the captain when the aircraft is too full, provided that the passenger is healthy or a close relative of a crew member.
