Two-year-old went 3 kilometers to find parents
After hearing that his parents, who haven't been home in a year will come back "immediately", a two-year-old boy sneaked out of his home and went on a 3 kilometer journey trying to pick them up.
The boy is from a small town in Zhumadian city of Henan province. On Tuesday noon his grandmother told him that his parents working in Beijing will arrive home "immediately" for the Spring Festival reunion. The boy left the house when his grandparents were taking a nap, and went toward the train station.
His grandmother later told the police that by "immediately", she meant two or three days. The child appeared so anxious about his parents that she offered him what she thought was a vague date to console him.
It turned out the boy got lost on the street, and a pedal cab driver took him to a police station.
