Mountain hermit finds recipe of happiness
Wang Zhixia, 83, is a Buddhist hermit who has been living in the Zhongnan Mountain, Northwest China's Shaanxi province for 36 years. Wang, who was converted to Buddhism at the age of 7, built a small "temple", which is actually a shabby hut half way up the mountain and named it "Triple Saints Hall."
The cottage has neither heating nor electricity despite the bitter cold, but Wang believed she found the real recipe of happiness by chanting sutras and living a simple life.
