Jackie Chan's cameraman drowns
We are used to seeing Jackie Chan perform stunning stunts in his movies, but sadly, his real-life heroics failed to save the day on Wednesday.
Kung Fu star Jackie Chan lamented cameraman Chan Kwok-hung, who drowned in Hong Kong on Wednesday while filming the action-comedy Skiptrace.
Chan Kwok-hung, aged 51, who had more than 20 years of movie industry experience, met with tragedy after a boat capsized off Lantau Island, according to South China Morning Post.
Jackie Chan, who was ashore when the incident happened, jumped into the sea to try to rescue the cameraman, but it was too late, according to people.com.
Skiptrace is an action-comedy in which Chan plays the role of a Hong Kong detective, on a race through China to capture a gangster who has taken his niece, portrayed by Chinese actress BingBing Fan of X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
