A place in Taoyuan county in Changde, Hunan province, which used to be a perfect place to grow citruses, has become a hell for the fruit, reported news.sina.com on Saturday.
The environment of the place went south after many industries related to pollution, such as aluminum processing, set up their projects there. The land is now heavily polluted and any living creatures here are surrounded by toxic and pungent air and environment due to lack of correct disposal of toxic waste.
Whereas previously no cancer deaths were reported, 10 have reportedly died of cancer since the polluting industries moved in.
