A man carrying a kitchen knife in his flip-flops may have faced the most embarrassing moment of his life when he tried rob a bank in Heyuan, Guangdong province, reported Nandu.com on Thursday.
He stormed in a bank and shouted "I'm robbing money!" to the bank staff who sat in the other side of the counter with bullet-proof glass screen. The teller shouted back with no panic: "You have to line up first!" The would-be robber had to wait for two clients to complete their business before demanding money again.
His demand for 10,000 yuan ($1,600) was declined after the teller found there was only one yuan in his account. The man hit the glass screen with the knife couple of times, then left.
