Father pleas for son's treatment
A father armed with a heart-shaped pink placard sought donations for his sick son at a square in Beijing on Thursday, dfic.cn reported.
Su Guofu, from East China’s Jiangxi province, was seeking treatment for his 6-year-old son who was diagnosed with a rare disease this summer. An estimated 150,000 yuan ($24,489) has been spent on the boy’s treatment so far.
Su offered one yuan coins to passers-by, hoping to receive 100 yuan notes in return. On Thursday afternoon, only five or six people donated.
