A driver in Jinjiang city, Fujian province displayed excellent parking skills by docking a 4.27-meter-long sport utility vehicle in a 4.68x1.8m space, news network chinanews.com reported.

Chen Zhongliang, 31, has long parked in limited space, amazing nearby residents. Photos on chinanews.com reports also showed him driving his car out of the space.

Table tennis champion Zhang Jike was fined prize money of more than $50,000 after destroying two advertising boards during his celebrations at beating countryman and top seed, Ma Long at the Men's World Cup finals in Germany on Sunday.

Man killed by hornet stings

A gardener accidentally disturbed a hornet's nest on a lychee tree while pruning and was stung to death, xkb.com.cn reported.

Colleagues called fire fighters but the gardener, 21, died after 12 hours. It was the first reported death due to hornet stings in five years in Dongguan city, Guangdong province.
