A mall in Xi'an held an event that encouraged people to exchange eggs with new bras. The requirement said nine eggs, weighing around half a kilo and worth about 6 yuan, can be traded for a bra, hexun.com reported on Sunday.
According mall employees, the event was held to increase awareness about issues related to women’s breasts. The shopping center plans to sell the nearly 1,000 eggs it collected at 10 yuan per egg, with the whole money being donated to women suffering from breast cancer.

Traffic policeman a hit on web
Twenty-five-year old traffic policeman Chu Yu is easily noticed by drivers and passersby in Dalian city, Liaoning province, thanks to his 2.03 meters height, and his photos are now hot items on the web, xinhuanet.com reported on Wednesday.
Chu Yu used to be a basketball player, but had to retire early due to too many injuries. He later became a college student and then passed traffic police exam.

Tian suffered different injuries while his son, who was with him, died on the spot.

Cashier become "King of the fans"
34-year-old cashier, Yuan Bin, won the title "King of the fans" for taking photo with 200 celebrities within six months in Chengdu, Sichuan province, according to newssc.org.
Yuan, who has been a star struck for 20 years, can figure out the stars' schedule by their photos they post online.

A man has died from the H7N9 strain of bird flu while his son is being treated for the infection, local authorities announced on Tuesday.
The man, surnamed Xin, died of acute respiratory distress and multiple organ failure on Friday, the municipal government in Yantai said in a statement. The 61-year-old retiree developed fever and asthma on May 6 and was hospitalized on May 11 after his condition worsened.

Bus driver says sorry to migrant worker
