A couple sold their two daughters to fund their drug addiction, receiving 10,000 yuan for one of the girls and 35,000 for the second child, according to Shandong Radio-Television Station.
They later told the husband's older brother, who went to the police in April - and the police helped the couple get their children back.

Men pretend to be police officers to blackmail prostitutes
Two men were arrested for passing themselves off as police officers in a bid to blackmail two female sex workers – threatening them with arrest, Beijing Youth Daily reported.
The two suspects, surnamed Li and Shi, used QQ - an online chatting tool - to look for female sex workers, and then pretended they were customers and asked the victims for sex services.
Once they met the women, the two men tried to force them to hand over their valuables, showing them fake police ID.

Teacher apologizes for being late by doing push-ups
A PE teacher did 60 push-ups in front of a class of more than 40 students as a way to atone for being late by three minutes, Wuhan Evening News reported.
The teacher, named Yu Xiaoping, found that her students were already standing in formation when she arrived at the playground of Wuhan University of Science and Technology in Central China's Hubei province.
The newspaper said that Yu explained to students that her delay was caused by the heavy traffic – and then proceeded to do 60 push-ups after the end of the lesson.

Man arrested for selling scrapped foreign coins
A farmer in Wenling, Zhejiang province, was sentenced to two years and two months in prison by a local court for illegally processing and selling discarded foreign coins, Xinhua.net reported on Saturday.
Wang Weichu, 57, previously worked in a waste recycling plant, and has been collecting and selling various discarded foreign currencies - worth a total of $107.1 million yuan (6,69 million yuan) - over a period of nine months in 2011, according to the local police. Wang was also fined 50,000 yuan.

Private collector donates antique lamps
A man who collects lamps donated a total of 1169 Chinese antique lamps to a local museum in Zibo, Shandong province, Qilu Evening News reported.
Zhang Xiguang, 68, has been collecting various kinds of old lamps during the past 15 years, and the items that will be donated to the museum will be exhibited in a special hall – named after him - in the museum.

Boar breaks into sanatorium
A boar weighting 50 kilograms was found near death after it broke into a sanatorium in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, news portal dbw.cn reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the boar was injured and managed to escape when villagers tried to prepare it for the trip to see a veterinarian at a local zoo.
