Fish grab
In order to increase the carp population of a river, 20 people in Jinan, capital city of Shandong province, bought 1,000 kilograms of carp and released them into the river.
However, 100 meters away, 50 people were waiting to grab the fish, some casting nets and some jumping directly into the freezing water.
Haze over Lhasa
On Friday, the floating dust hovering over the sky in North China reached Lhasa, capital of Tibet autonomous region, leading to the area's first hazy day of the year.
The haze will reduce visibility, and experts suggest people wear masks when they go outside.

Li Yapeng criticized
A netizen blew the whistle against former actor Li Yapeng on Weibo, saying that Li used the money he collected from a charity foundation on real estate, and his divorce from Faye Wong was because Wong could not go along with his money-grabbing.

Feng Xiaogang's latest film Personal Tailor received both praise and criticism since its premiere on Wednesday. Some netizens criticized the movie on Weibo, while feedback from viewers on the street was positive.
Incomplete statistics showed that box office receipts exceeded 84 million yuan ($13.8 million) in two days.

Popular Taiwan idol Jimmy Lin Chih-ying responded to criticism from Fang Zhouzi, a well-known micro blog opinion leader, who accused Lin of investing in an unlicensed collagen product and overstating its effectiveness to raise the price.

Insiders said it could be related to the bank's latest effort to regulate Bitcoins, which caused prices to drop, irritating some people. The website is being restored.
