Some 12,000 workers were mobilized to clear the snow clogging streets and disturbing traffic in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, after a blizzard barreled down on Saturday night in Northeast China.
Piles of snow were as thick as 10 cm in many regions of the province Sunday. The strongest snowstorm this winter has closed schools and expressways and delayed flights. (www.ifeng.com)
