Andrew Chiang, grandson of former Kuomintang leader Chiang Ching-kuo, was detained by a Taiwan court on charges of allegedy making threats.
Chiang, who is a fourth generation descendent of Chiang Kai-shek, was accused of making threats against the Taipei American School via Facebook and e-mail since August, stating his intention to harm to the school, and especially its administrators. But Chiang later defended himself against the accusations, saying it was the school that should be held responsible.
