China has lifted restrictions on how low airline tickets can go. Airlines can determine maximum ticket prices based on benchmarks, with the maximum fare no higher than 25 percent above the benchmarks. But there are no limitations on how low they can be set, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the National Development and Reform Commission.
