Poyang Lake in Jiangxi province, the largest freshwater lake in China, now measures only 1,497 square kilometers, a decrease of more than 1,000 square kilometers from August, since the lake has entered the dry season. Visitors are finding another fun activity on the lake, as the original water area has become grassland that people can walk on.
