Huangling village in Wuyuan county, East China's Jiangxi province, still glitters with an autumn harvest glow.
Local residents fill their bamboo trays with red chilis, chrysanthemum, corn and tea for air drying and winter storage. This ancient agricultural custom incidentally creates a beautiful scene along the mountainside.
As a mountain dwelling village, Huangling transforms its lack of flat land into a unique strength. Hundreds of antique houses are built on the slope, which is almost 100 meters high from top to bottom.
The village, rated as a national AAAA scenic spot (the second highest level for tourist attractions in China), draws worldwide visitors throughout the year to view its picturesque landscape.
