Less than six months after its official unveiling, the Design More brand of Beijing Design Week now includes an annual design ranking list, a traveling design carnival, a growing line of original products and an online platform for some of the world's best designs, all of which were on show during this year's event that ended on Oct 3.
The Design More Top 10 list aims to discover and honor creations that "changed people's lifestyle and represents the future".

The jury panel this year included more than 20 renowned designers and professionals like Italian design guru Stefano Giovannoni, Chinese architect Yung Ho Chang and Rene Adda, founder and CEO of Lexon, a French company that participated in the event.
A total of 10 winners were selected from a pool of more than 1,000 candidates. They range from Swedish air purifier Blueair and shoe brand Vibram to designer Zhou Zishu, who seeks to empower the vulnerable by transforming the air defense basements where immigrant workers live.
Fashion designer Zhang Chi won the title of New Designer of the Year for his printed facial mask.
"With the air quality deteriorating in Beijing, the mask has become a necessity for people. But the traditional masks usually block beauty. With this new design, I want to call attention to environmental protection and also to fight the smog with the power of beauty," says Zhang.
