A hotel with its own museum

The silver key signified the former hotel's power. When the 2nd building was completed, all the sharehoolders decided to make a silver key as the symbol of the Hotel's power, then presented it to Mrs. O'Hara whose husband was the Chairman of the Board of Astor Hotel. As luck would have it, the descendants of Mrs. O'Hara visited the hotel in 1997 and gave back the silver key to the Astor Hotel. [Photo/chinadaily.com.cn]
