Men's tights, for so long the preserve of ballet dancers and runway models, are taking New York by storm and could soon be seen on the streets of Britain, The Daily Telegraph of London reported.

据英国《每日电讯报》报道，一直以来都是芭蕾舞者和T台男模专属的打底裤(状似秋裤)，如今竟在纽约男士中流行开来，甚至有望席卷英国街头。

Celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Russell Brand have been spotted wearing male leggings, or "meggings". Some New Yorkers, however, see the "megger" as an affront to masculinity. Gabriel Cru, 35, said: "Men in tights? Get out of here. We don't do men in tights in New York. That's European!"

贾斯汀·比伯、拉塞尔·布兰德等名人都在穿打底裤。但也有纽约人士认为打底裤有辱男子气概。35岁的克鲁就表示："打底裤？一边去吧，纽约男的才不穿呢，那太欧范儿了！"
