The model showcases the brand's imaginative heights in craftsmanship, design and excellence that emanate from the design studios at the home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England. Using methods akin to the artistry of fine furniture makers, Rolls-Royce creates perfection through a process that marries cutting-edge technology with traditional craftsmanship. In the case of Pinnacle Travel Phantom, for instance, 230 individual pieces of marquetry are used to create the striking motif of a cross-continental train speeding across a landscape with plumes of steam in its wake. The same motif bleeds onto the door cards via 24,633 individual stitches, emphasizing the painstaking craftsmanship required to perfectly match the two details. Location: E404 |
