Poking fun at the Pogba's easy-going style, the Chinese fans reminded the unnamed driver of the star's social status.
"Do you know the guy you drove is worth 1 billion yuan ($147 million)," someone quipped.
The French international became the world's most expensive player when Manchester United paid Juventus £89 million ($113.7 million) for his services last summer.
The 24-year-old has been busy since the 2017 UEFA Europa League final was over in May.
From flying to Saudi Arabia for Ramadan, the Muslim month of fasting, to shoot for a magazine, Pogba now is continuing his journey in China after enjoying an Adidas promotional tour.

Going by the posts on social media, Pogba seems to be enjoying himself in China. He has taken a selfie with a group of United fans, posed in front of China's iconic landmarks such as the Forbidden City, and shaved Chinese characters into his head with a cool new hair-cut.
He also met his old acquaintance Carlos Tevez in Shanghai where the latter is currently struggling to find his form at Shanghai Shenhua after a highly paid move worth $41 million.
The pair traded signed jerseys and posed for a picture that Pogba posted to Instagram, with both wearing broad smiles as well as their new memorabilia.
Tevez left Manchester United for Manchester City before he had the chance to play with Pogba at Old Trafford, but linked up with the Frenchman at Juventus for two seasons after a switch to Italy in 2013.
