Speaking about her performance, Zhu said she was satisfied with her reception and her block but admitted she had "some errors in spiking."

"I am well-prepared for the upcoming league matches," she added. "I look forward to our home matches and seeing the fans' passion next week."

As one of the league title favorites, Vakifbank will play its next match against Istanbul's Galatasaray club on Nov 2.
