ROME - Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan has offered a two-year contract worth six million euros per season to Italian Luciano Spalletti, "Football Italia" reported on Wednesday.
Spalletti has been heavily linked with a return to Roma, but he's also considering to coach Beijing Guoan in China, "Football Italia" said on its website.
Spalletti is the hot favorite to take over at the Stadio Olimpico if Rudi Garcia is sacked. "Football Italia" suggests that Roma have to make their mind up quickly, because Spalletti, the former Zenit St. Petersburg manager, has other enticing offers on the table from China's Beijing Guoan.
A two-year contract, valued at six million euros each season, can be considered lucrative to any coach.
If Spalletti has chosen to take over at Beijing Guoan, He'd be the second Italian tactician in the Chinese Super League after Marcello Lippi's success at Guangzhou Evergrande.
